Calculating Distributions

Each year, the required minimum distribution is calculated by dividing the prior year's ending balance by a life expectancy factor.

Use the RMD calculator to calculate the distribution amounts this year. It is easy to use and requires only:

1. Account holder's date of birth
2. Previous year-end account value
3. Beneficiary date of birth, if applicable
