Art Bacci,
President & CEO
Arthur
J. Bacci is President and Chief Executive Officer of Principal Trust CompanySM
and President of Principal Bank, member companies of the Principal Financial
Group®. Art
joined the Principal Trust leadership team in 2002 as Chief Financial Officer
and became President and CEO in 2005. He assumed his role at Principal Bank
in 2007.
Prior to joining our team, Mr. Bacci served as Chief Financial Officer and then President and Chief Operating Officer of Ashton Technology Group. He served on the Board of Directors for Ashton Technology, a developer of electronic trading and systems for the global financial securities industry.
Earlier, Mr. Bacci held various management positions with William E. Simon & Sons and its affiliates, where he was actively involved in mergers, acquisitions and capital transactions totaling over $700 million. During this period, he also served as Chief Financial Officer of several financial institutions owned by The Simon Group. Mr. Bacci received his M.B.A. from the Leavy School of Business at the University of Santa Clara and his B.S. in Finance from San Jose State University.

Carol
Burns, Senior Vice President, joined Principal Trust
Company in 1986.
During her tenure Ms. Burns has held various management positions. In 1993, she was promoted to manager of the Self-Directed Accounts area, shortly after was elected an officer, promoted to 2nd Vice President, Human Resources in 1996, and then promoted to Vice President in 1998. In 2000, she assumed the additional oversight and responsibility for Operations before being promoted to Senior Vice President and taking on her current role in 2007.
Ms. Burns is a graduate of Goldey-Beacom College of Business and currently serves as a member of the Executive Committee here at Principal Trust Company. She has continued her education in retirement plans through the National Institute of Pension Administrators (NIPA). She is a member of the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM), and received her Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification in 1996.
Lori Richards, Vice President Finance
Lori
Richards, Vice President of Finance, joined Principal Trust Company in 2002.
She brings more than 20 years of financial business management experience. In
her role at Principal Trust, Lori is responsible for financial operations and
compliance.
Ms. Richards began her career in the Big Four public accounting arena where she served a variety of audit clients. She later served as Vice President and Controller at Delaware First Bank before joining Principal Trust.
Ms. Richards received her bachelor of business administration degree in accounting from the University of Houston, and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Kristin Camp, Director Trust Services
Kristin Camp, Director of Trust Services, joined Principal Trust Company in 1999. She has nearly ten years of experience in the retirement services industry. Ms. Camp started at Principal Trust in the 401(k) administration area as a plan administrator and was promoted to manager of self-directed accounts in 2005 before being promoted to her current position in 2008.
Kristin received a bachelor of science in Economics from the University of Delaware and her M.B.A. from Villanova University.
